The Company is seeking a Netting Lawyer VP to join their Markets Legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the business units in the Markets division operate in compliance with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations. This includes the development and implementation of legal strategies, providing legal advice and support on a range of matters, and representing the company in legal proceedings. The role also involves the creation and review of legal documents, legal research, and the delivery of training programs to educate employees on legal and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Netting Lawyer VP position should be qualified lawyers with significant experience in private practice or in-house legal functions. The role requires the ability to identify and communicate legal and commercial risks, as well as a deep understanding of areas such as derivatives, securities financing master trading agreements, bankruptcy/insolvency law, and regulatory capital requirements.
