Vice President, Controller

The Company is seeking a VP/Controller with a strong background in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the organization's financial health, leading the financial planning and analysis process, and ensuring compliance with all federal and internal financial obligations. This role involves direct oversight of all financial aspects, including accounting, finance, treasury, tax, and financial reporting. The VP/Controller will also be responsible for creating and managing the annual and quarterly financial strategic plans and budgets, preparing detailed financial performance reports, and serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership. Applicants for the VP/Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with an MBA being a plus and a CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial services experience is required, with a strong preference for those with public accounting experience and a background in M&A due diligence. The role demands exceptional presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to identify and analyze financial risks, support M&A due diligence efforts, and manage relationships with various financial stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial analysis, have a proven track record in investment performance, and be capable of leading and supporting all audit and internal control operations.
