Vice President of Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and enhance its manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team member engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement and LEAN strategies, as well as acting as a trusted operational advisor to senior business leaders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in a high-growth, multi-site manufacturing environment, and the ability to expand operations to meet growth strategies. The VP of Operations will also play a key role in fostering a positive team member culture, promoting collaboration, and ensuring the company is an employer of choice. Candidates for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a BS/BA from an accredited college/university, with an MBA/MA preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible roles, including functional leadership. A Lean Black Belt certification is also preferred. The role demands a leader with expertise in lean and continuous improvement, strong financial management skills, and the ability to influence business and regulatory issues. The VP of Operations will be expected to have a high level of proficiency in MS Office, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to engage with customers and suppliers in a professional manner. The position involves supervisory responsibilities, works in a matrix organization, and may require up to 25% travel.
