Chief of Health Services

The Company is seeking a Chief of Health Services to lead healthcare operations across correctional facilities and contracted providers. The role oversees medical, mental health, and dental services, ensuring quality care and compliance with applicable standards, laws, and policies. Responsibilities include setting divisional plans, leading strategic initiatives, managing budgets, monitoring vendor performance, and advising executive leadership on healthcare challenges. The Chief also coordinates multidisciplinary teams, reviews healthcare data, supports audits and reporting, and represents the organization in executive and stakeholder forums. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, public administration, nursing, behavioral health, criminal justice, business administration, or a related field; relevant managerial experience may substitute. At least five years of progressively responsible experience in correctional health services, healthcare management, public health administration, or related administrative or business roles is preferred. Applicants should bring knowledge of correctional healthcare standards, quality assurance, fiscal and contract management, and correctional operations. Strong leadership, communication, data analysis, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills are essential.
