Vice President, Payments Product Analyst Greater Pittsburgh, PA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Payments Product Analyst to support product management by translating product goals, regulatory requirements, and operational needs into clear, testable requirements and delivery-ready backlog items. Responsibilities include documenting processes and data mappings, refining scope and acceptance criteria, assessing impacts and dependencies, and supporting testing, user acceptance, release readiness, and audit traceability. The role also involves analyzing payment data, troubleshooting transaction issues, identifying operational risks, and collaborating with product, technology, operations, and client service teams. The analyst will contribute to payment modernization, regulatory compliance, and improvements to processing controls and efficiency. Candidates should have 5–10 or more years of relevant experience, including work on large-scale payment transformation or platform modernization initiatives, and a background in banking, financial services, or transaction banking. Deep knowledge of payment processing, including SWIFT, ISO 20022, financial market infrastructures, instant payments, and payment lifecycle flows, is required, along with familiarity with regulatory standards and controls. A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and time-management skills are essential, as are experience with Agile delivery, process modeling, data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel, APIs, and integration patterns.
