Head of Operations & HSE

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations & HSE to lead the technical and commercial performance of its post-construction renewable energy assets across multiple countries. The role focuses on safe, reliable, compliant operations and optimizing asset performance, energy dispatch, and market revenue. Responsibilities include managing operations and maintenance contractors, service agreements, budgets, regulatory compliance, and claims, while reporting on performance and financial results to senior leadership and investors. The successful candidate will also develop long-term asset strategies, build and mentor a cross-border operations team, and strengthen health, safety, and environmental practices. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, including five or more years in senior operations leadership, and a university degree in engineering, renewable energy, or technical or industrial management. Required experience includes managing utility-scale solar or wind assets across multiple countries, commercial asset operations, energy dispatch and balancing, and battery storage or hybrid assets. Applicants should demonstrate success in improving performance and cost efficiency, managing contractors and service agreements, and maintaining strong HSE and compliance frameworks. Strong commercial, strategic, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills, along with fluency in English, are essential; postgraduate study and experience with repowering, life extension, or claims management are advantageous.
