The successful candidate will be responsible for leading both technical and business testing team members in the preparation and execution of test initiatives that support core investment banking testing projects. This role involves active participation in requirements and design reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product meets the necessary standards and is tested efficiently. The AVP will also oversee test execution, manage test schedules, and evaluate potential risks that may impact the quality, schedule, or budget of the testing process. Applicants must have a strong background in the financial services industry, with 8-12 years of experience in quality assurance. Technical and functional proficiency in Agile, BDD, and DevOps testing methodologies is essential, as is a strong understanding of the SDLC. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in API testing, proficiency in SQL, and experience with MongoDB. Strong scripting skills in UNIX, Shell, Perl, and Python are necessary, with additional experience in Java and Selenium tools being a plus.
