The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of J2SE/J2EE application code to support business, functional, and technical requirements. This role is pivotal in the development and maintenance of a service layer that provides a set of well-defined, structured, and reusable lending services (APIs) for various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java development, with the ability to analyze new requirements, ensure reusability, and maintain consistency with industry best practices. Additionally, the role involves active participation in the design of engineering solutions, ensuring they are fit for purpose, maintainable, and can be successfully integrated into the overall environment. Applicants for this role at the company should be senior QA resources with a minimum of 5-8 years' of relevant experience, particularly within the IT support industry, with a preference for those with a background in the financial sector.
