Vice President, Technology Operations Specialist Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Technology Operations Specialist with a VP level designation to join their Production Support Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on production support, troubleshooting, and operational ownership of applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on Google Kubernetes Engine, containerized workloads, and PostgreSQL-backed services. This role demands a deep technical understanding of cloud-native technologies and the ability to lead incident recovery, perform technical analysis across various layers, and drive automation to enhance service stability and operational efficiency. The Specialist will also be expected to mentor and coach global support team members, participate in change management activities, and collaborate with various technical teams to ensure the highest level of service. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' of IT experience, with a significant background in production support, particularly within financial services technology. Essential skills include hands-on experience with GCP, GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and PostgreSQL, as well as a strong understanding of Kubernetes, cloud-native application architecture, and UNIX/Linux operating systems. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Experience in securities services, asset management, or trade finance domains is advantageous. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of ITIL service management practices and be flexible to support incident callouts outside of regular working hours.
