Executive Director, Asset Management
About the Role
Greater Raleigh, NC Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Asset Management within its Pharmaceutical Operations and Technologies division. The successful candidate will be a senior strategic leader responsible for translating enterprise and functional strategy into a high-impact initiative portfolio. This role involves providing leadership in strategic planning, project and program management, portfolio governance, operational transformation, and technology strategy. The Executive Director will work closely with senior leaders across various business functions to ensure that strategic priorities are well-defined, resourced, governed, and executed. Key responsibilities include leading strategic transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for digital technologies, and driving the adoption of standardized processes and best practices. The role also requires strong organizational and financial management skills, as well as the ability to influence and lead in a complex, matrixed organization. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in a related industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading complex, enterprise-level programs, and strategic initiatives, as well as experience in portfolio and program management, operational strategy, or business transformation. Core competencies include enterprise strategic thinking, financial and business acumen, organizational change leadership, and talent development. The role demands a leader with strong analytical, organizational, and strategic-planning capabilities, who can effectively manage risk and ensure compliance with governance requirements. Success in this role will be measured by the alignment of the strategic portfolio with business priorities, the delivery of measurable benefits, and the development of a high-performing strategy and portfolio management organization.
