Vice President of Operations Greater Salt Lake City, UT Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead property management excellence and ensure operational efficiency, financial performance, and strategic alignment across all managed properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing property performance, driving enhancements in maintenance and overall property quality, and resident satisfaction. This role involves streamlining processes, enforcing SOPs, and monitoring compliance with operational standards. The VP of Operations will also engage with clients on financial performance, CAPEX programs, and support new business pitches. A key aspect of the position is to recruit, develop, and provide leadership to a team of Regional Vice Presidents and support staff, as well as to conduct regular meetings with various teams to address operational challenges. Candidates for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field, with 8-10 years' experience in property management leadership, including 6-7 years in senior regional leadership. The role requires 3rd party management experience, business development experience, and a strong knowledge of the property management industry, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in analytics, strategic planning, and have a proven track record in client management. They should be adept at strategic thinking, driving decision-making, and be able to effectively communicate and lead teams. The ability to think strategically, drive operational excellence, and manage operations within budget is essential.
