Senior Vice President of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all accounting operations across the firm's real estate portfolio, including corporate, fund, and property-level accounting. This role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing the close processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The SVP will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures, as well as overseeing accounting related to development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities. As the firm continues to expand, the SVP will work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights, support operational decision-making, and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers. A key aspect of the position is to lead, mentor, and expand the accounting team to meet the growing needs of the business. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a proven track record in a similar leadership position, with a strong background in real estate accounting and a deep understanding of the financial aspects of the industry.
