The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Precious Metals trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing bespoke derivatives to corporate and investor clients on a global scale. This includes quoting and risk managing a range of products such as OTC spot, forwards, swaps, and both vanilla and exotic options, as well as engaging in physical business in the gold, silver, platinum, and palladium markets. The role demands a professional with a strong client focus, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to make markets in both vanilla and exotic options. Strategic risk management of client flows and orders is a key aspect of the position, as is the ability to work closely with the bullion technology and quantitative research groups to enhance electronic capabilities. Applicants for the Vice President position should hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline, and have at least 5 years' experience in precious metals, FX, or other macro derivatives products. The role requires the ability to assess and understand risk in trading positions and market events, as well as a comfort with or interest in options risk management. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives under competitive pressures, remains focused on client needs, and demonstrates maturity and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A strong, disciplined approach to the controls environment, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and the capacity to operate at a senior level under pressure are also essential. Preferred qualifications include demonstrable experience interacting with major institutional or corporate commodity clients.
