The President & CEO will also be the principal spokesperson, representing the association at various industry events and engaging in extensive domestic and international travel. Applicants for the President & CEO position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of ten years' executive leadership experience. Key requirements include a proven track record in team leadership, budget management, and strategic implementation, as well as excellent communication, marketing, and financial skills. The role demands a leader with the ability to work effectively with Boards of Directors, strong governance, and board relations, and a focus on organizational change to execute the strategic plan. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to serve as an industry expert and may hold a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.
