Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and develop information security and cyber risk management in a regulated financial environment. The role will set the security strategy, maintain a proportionate information security framework, and strengthen digital operational resilience. Responsibilities include managing regulatory requirements, monitoring threats and vulnerabilities, overseeing critical outsourcing and technology suppliers, and translating risks into practical actions. The CISO will also provide clear reporting to senior leadership and the Board, while building security awareness through guidance, training, and communication. Candidates should have substantial experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT risk, ideally within banking, financial services, or another regulated environment. They should understand governance, risk management, and regulatory expectations, and be able to tailor security practices to organizational needs while prioritizing based on risk. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging both technical teams and senior decision-makers, along with a pragmatic, structured approach and sound judgment. Professional English is required; Swedish is an advantage.
