Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to support sustainable business growth through financial strategy and organizational leadership. Responsibilities include developing and executing medium-term management plans, business plans, and performance forecasts; improving profitability; and leading cost optimization and company-wide cost structure reform. The role also supports strategic investment and growth decisions, oversees financial control for large retail operations and corporate functions, advances finance operations, and manages a team. The successful candidate will collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders to align priorities and inform decision-making. Candidates should have experience proposing and executing finance-led business initiatives with management and shareholders, building consensus across domestic and international groups, and managing finance projects such as cost reform. Required expertise includes business planning, budgeting, performance management, investment evaluation, and US GAAP, along with a bachelor’s degree, fluent Japanese, and business-level English. Strong stakeholder relationship-building, leadership, foresight, adaptability, and communication skills are essential. Experience in global business growth, large-scale finance team management, transformation projects, or retail finance is preferred.
