The Company is seeking a President & CEO to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its diverse business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial health, image, and profitable growth of the organization's various divisions, including grain, agronomy, energy, and retail. This role involves leading the management team in the development and administration of strategic plans, working with the Board of Directors to establish annual goals, and ensuring the alignment of business operations with the overall strategic vision. The President & CEO will also be tasked with building organizational talent, managing operations with a focus on safety and continuous improvement, and strengthening relationships with various stakeholders. Candidates for the President & CEO position at the company should have a college degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred. A strong background in agricultural business, cooperative management, or a related field is essential, with a demonstrated knowledge of cooperative marketing, operations, and finance. The role requires significant leadership experience, particularly in grain merchandising, origination, operations, accounting, risk management, and capital planning. Experience in agronomy, energy, feed, or diversified agricultural retail operations is also desirable. The ideal candidate will possess a range of functional competencies, including strategic thinking, financial performance management, and the ability to develop and strengthen partnerships. Proven management and leadership skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, are a must.
