Vice President, Legal - Litigation, Employment Law & Compliance Greater Toledo, OH Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Legal with a focus on Litigation, Employment Law, and Compliance. The successful candidate will be the enterprise leader for the global litigation function, providing strategic leadership and oversight for all litigation, employment law, and compliance matters. This role is pivotal in developing and executing litigation strategies that align with business objectives and values, as well as in leading the Directors who develop employment law and compliance strategies. The Vice President will also be responsible for maintaining enterprise-wide litigation strategies, managing significant legal risks, and ensuring the company's legal and commercial interests are protected. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and have a minimum of 15-20 years' of legal experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in manufacturing, industrial, or regulated industries. The role requires a proven track record in managing complex litigation, outside counsel, and legal budgets, as well as the ability to advise senior executives on sensitive business matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in global litigation management, a deep understanding of legal and financial aspects of litigation, and a history of leading diverse legal teams. The position demands a leader with exceptional judgment, the ability to influence and drive change, and a commitment to the values and leadership expectations of the company.
