Associate Vice President, Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst Greater Toronto, Canada Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst - AVP to join their dynamic team. This intermediate-level position is pivotal in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, in close coordination with the technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including conducting feasibility studies, IT planning, and risk technology, as well as monitoring and controlling all phases of the development process. In addition, the role involves providing user and operational support, analyzing complex problems, and recommending and developing security measures to ensure the functionality of the systems. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5-8 years' of relevant experience in applications development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spring Boot, Java, Talend ETL, Talend Data Management and Studio, and AutoSys, and be a subject matter expert in at least one area of applications development for jobs and ETL. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing and implementing successful projects, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
