Vice President, Global Investment Banking (Syndicated & Leveraged Finance) Greater Toronto, Canada Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead syndicated and leveraged finance transactions, including corporate M&A, leveraged buyouts, project financings, and general corporate financings. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis and due diligence, structuring and executing transactions, interpreting credit-market trends, and preparing client presentations, proposals, and transaction materials. The role also involves collaborating across coverage and product teams, building relationships with investors and market participants, and mentoring junior colleagues. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, equity research, corporate development, or accounting; direct syndications experience is an asset. A university degree in business, commerce, economics, STEM, or a related discipline is required. Strong quantitative, analytical, financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, communication, and data visualization skills are essential, along with knowledge of financial markets, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Relevant professional designations such as CFA, CPA, or P.Eng. are considered an asset.
