Dean, School of Social Work

The Company seeks a Dean to lead its School of Social Work and advance the school’s academic, research, and professional mission. The Dean will strengthen the infrastructure, culture, and resources that support research while maintaining a strong focus on professional preparation and practice. The role includes championing the integration of Christian faith, social work values, and professional ethics, and articulating the school’s contributions to the profession and communities. The Dean will also support faculty with varied responsibilities and guide the school’s continued development. Candidates should be accomplished social work educators, scholars, and leaders with substantive academic leadership experience, a record of scholarship, and an understanding of expectations in a research-intensive environment. They should demonstrate commitment to the Christian mission and to the values, ethics, and purposes of the social work profession, along with a thoughtful understanding of how faith relates to social work philosophy and practice. An appreciation for professional practice and the ability to support faculty across teaching, research, and clinical responsibilities are also important.
