About the Role
Remote (anywhere in United States)(United States)
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President and General Manager to build and scale a data center and grid-flexibility business. The role owns the portfolio’s strategy, roadmap, positioning, P&L, and commercial results, while recruiting and leading a new multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include translating market demand into product plans, setting operating rhythms and hiring plans, and driving pipeline, pilot-to-contract conversion, and revenue growth. The executive will represent the business in high-stakes customer and partner relationships, guide partnership and acquisition opportunities, and ensure technical work meets a high standard of credibility. Candidates should have experience building and scaling an early-stage business or team, owning commercial outcomes, and leading a product roadmap from market thesis through pilot design and commercial rollout. Strong executive presence and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value are essential. Data center or hyperscaler experience, including familiarity with power, build, control, operational, utility, and regulatory needs, is required, along with experience participating in large software-based commercial deals. Working knowledge of grid planning, distribution, hosting capacity, interconnection, and utility purchasing and regulatory processes is a strong advantage; exposure to grid planning software is also valuable.
