Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to serve as the most senior in-country finance leader in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial integrity, statutory standing, and governance of the China legal entity. This role involves providing strategic financial leadership, sitting on the China leadership team, and acting as the primary finance advisor to the Board and shareholder representatives. The Head of Finance will also oversee operational finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, and ensure compliance with PRC company law, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years' of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in a highly regulated industry. The role requires significant experience in PRC statutory reporting, taxation, treasury, foreign exchange, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance, as well as a deep understanding of PRC GAAP and IFRS and/or US GAAP. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, and hold a professional qualification such as CPA, CICPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent. Experience in a similar senior finance role within a foreign-invested or multinational entity in China, and a background in a related industry, are also highly valued.
