Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Remote (anywhere in Colombia)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to build and lead the finance function for its Colombian business as it develops into a licensed financial institution. The CFO will shape financial strategy, establish scalable planning, reporting, and control processes, and lead the finance workstream of the licensing process. Responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, treasury, liquidity, capital allocation, tax planning, and financial risk management. The role also involves managing relationships with regulators, banks, auditors, and investors; supporting fundraising and business performance; and recruiting and developing the finance team. Candidates should have at least 10 years of financial leadership experience in banking, with a strong understanding of bank balance sheets, regulatory ratios, securities, loans, and hedge accounting. Expertise in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, building bank profit-and-loss and balance-sheet models, and IFRS accounting is required. Familiarity with corporate governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks is also important; treasury and corporate taxation experience is valued. Excellent communication and project management skills, sound prioritization, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential.
