Head of Credit, Digital Assets

The Company is a European-based blockchain and digital asset investment firm with a focus on early-stage venture and credit strategies. They are seeking a Head of Credit to lead the expansion of their credit strategy, which currently manages a significant amount of assets and has a proven track record in generating attractive risk-adjusted returns. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and deploying a substantial allocation of the strategy's AUM across a multi-asset portfolio, including structured credit, direct lending, prime brokerage lending, and other institutional credit and financing opportunities. This senior role demands a professional with a strong background in both traditional finance and digital assets, particularly in the areas of credit. The ideal candidate for the Head of Credit position at the company will have a minimum of 5-6 years' experience in traditional finance, with a focus on structured credit, credit risk, treasury, direct lending, securitization, or investment banking. Additionally, a minimum of 1-2 years' of experience in a financial role within digital assets is required, encompassing areas such as on-chain lending, crypto prime brokerage, digital asset treasury management, and DeFi risk assessment. Core capabilities should include direct underwriting experience, fundamental credit analysis, and a strong understanding of credit documentation. Practical experience with on-chain credit and exposure to multiple asset classes is highly advantageous.
