The successful candidate will be involved in strategic initiatives on the FX trade processing platform, supporting the modernization and migration to new strategic risk platforms. This role requires a hands-on approach to integration, modernization, and cloud-enablement, with a focus on both new projects and established technology. The candidate will also be responsible for championing best practices, coaching junior team members, and resolving high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation and advanced knowledge of Java development. Applicants must have a strong core Java experience, with a mandate of 8+ years in the field, and be well-versed in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and OAuth. Thorough knowledge of clean code practices, test-driven development, and experience with build tools such as Gradle and Maven are essential. Solid Linux/Unix skills, experience with build platforms like Jenkins or TeamCity, and knowledge of Apache Kafka, Openshift, Docker, and modern scaling and orchestration frameworks are advantageous. The role also requires experience and hands-on exposure to GenAI. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is the minimum educational requirement.
