Associate Vice President, Clinical Intelligence

Remote (anywhere in United States)
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Clinical Intelligence to lead the enterprise in setting the strategy and roadmap for AI-driven clinical actions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and owning the clinical intelligence vision, mission, and strategy, as well as managing the enterprise standards for AI clinical safety. This role requires a leader with a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field, and at least 15 years of professional experience, including 7 years in people management. The AVP will direct multiple teams in the areas of clinical informatics, care pathways, and clinical AI safety and evaluation, and must have a deep expertise in informatics, clinical intelligence, artificial intelligence, or a related discipline. Key responsibilities for the AVP include partnering with engineering and business leaders to deliver clinical intelligence products, leading planning, staffing, budgeting, and talent decisions, and contributing to interdepartmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing decisions across payer and care delivery businesses and a passion for improving the consumer healthcare experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in insurance, primary care, pharmacy, and home-based care, as well as a history of building high-performing, diverse leadership teams. The role demands an individual with an enterprise perspective, exceptional knowledge of the healthcare business, and the ability to work with complex ideas and exercise independent judgment in ambiguous situations.
