Chief Technology Officer (CTO), National Security

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a focus on National Security. The successful candidate will be a dynamic technical leader, responsible for guiding and inspiring a high-performing team of pre-sales Systems Engineers. This team plays a pivotal role in modernizing the data strategies of the US Government's National Security Agencies and the Defense Industrial Base. The CTO will be at the forefront of this mission, demonstrating effective people development, assisting in the technical sales strategy, and acting as a lead technical officer in the territory. A deep understanding of US Government IT architecture, digital transformation to a Cloud Native architecture, and knowledge of various storage and networking technologies is essential. The role demands a leader with a passion for coaching technical talent, elevating customer outcomes, and shaping the future of data-driven enterprises. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years of management experience leading high-performing Sales Engineers, with a focus on the US Federal and Intelligence Accounts. A strong technical background, including 10 years of experience in supporting the sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions, is required. The ideal candidate will have a BS in CS, EE, or a related technical degree, or equivalent experience, and must hold an active security clearance. Key responsibilities include refining sales strategy, delighting customers with technical leadership, and enabling the team to capture and translate business needs into innovative solutions. The CTO will also be expected to move with market trends, promote thought leadership, and foster a culture of innovation and growth within the team.
