Executive Director, Trade & Working Capital

Remote (anywhere in United States)
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Trade and Working Capital. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the marketing officers in origination, deal negotiation, execution, and account management, with a specific focus on structured trade and export finance. This role involves providing optimal support in transaction origination, leading client management, and interfacing with various internal departments to ensure effective deal management. The Executive Director will also be expected to develop and maintain internal relationships, establish procedures for new transactions, and have a strong understanding of commercial banking products, trade finance services, and relevant compliance regulations. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 12 years of experience in product development, business development, or a related area. Superior knowledge of commercial banking products, trade finance services, and compliance regulations is essential. The role requires a demonstrated ability to work independently, superior sales, presentation, negotiation, and program management skills, as well as strong computer skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude, capable of translating customer needs into marketable product features, and have a proven track record in business development and strategic planning. A Certificate of Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) is a plus, and experience with leverage finance and agency guarantees is preferred.
