Head of AI Enablement & Transformation Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to consolidate existing AI initiatives into a coherent, well-governed program and make AI a practical part of everyday work. Responsibilities include building and shipping AI agents, automations, evaluation frameworks, and tools that enable safe use by non-engineers; leading hands-on training and supporting AI champions across the organization; and redesigning workflows in partnership with the teams that perform them. The role owns the AI tooling strategy, use-case pipeline, governance guardrails, and performance scorecard, while monitoring output quality, adoption, and employee impact. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct accountability for results and no direct reports. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in technology, operations, product, consulting, or transformation, including at least two years of applied generative AI work. They must have recently built and shipped agentic AI systems, automations, or LLM-powered tools that people use, along with coding or scripting skills for prototyping, API integration, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of the LLM ecosystem, AI evaluation and orchestration, and experience rolling out AI across a non-technical workforce are required. Candidates should also bring experience with AI governance or data-handling policies, measurable adoption or performance improvements, and excellent facilitation and communication skills. Experience consolidating AI pilots, using low-code automation or BI tools, or working in a self-management framework is an asset.
