The Company is in search of a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead the technical and organizational aspects of its regulated software platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end software engineering execution, ensuring the delivery, performance, and scalability of software products that enhance clinician workflows and patient experiences. This role demands a leader with a strong background in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) environments, capable of establishing and evolving engineering operating systems that meet the highest regulatory, compliance, and quality standards. The VP will also be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, advancing software engineering capabilities, and leading the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive software engineering leadership experience. A proven track record in leading the development and delivery of SaMD solutions within highly regulated medical device environments is essential. The role requires deep expertise in FDA software regulations, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and medical device quality systems, as well as experience in leading complex software engineering organizations through periods of growth and transformation.
