Vice President of Finance

The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development and implementation of strategic financial plans that align with the company's overall strategy. This includes overseeing all financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for managing relationships with financial service providers, providing strategic recommendations to the executive team, and overseeing the company's investment portfolio. A key aspect of the role is to provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, and to collaborate with the executive leadership team to set company-wide strategy and objectives. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for an MBA or advanced degree. An active CPA license is required, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position, ideally within the real estate sector. The role demands a strong financial and accounting background, proficiency in financial management software, and bilingual proficiency in English and French. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and leadership skills, a proven ability to strategize and solve problems, and a strong ethical standard with high levels of integrity. Experience with financial reporting standards, regulations, and a strong understanding of data analysis and performance metrics are also essential.
