Head of Product

The Company is seeking a Head of Product to take on a founding role in the development of its flagship consumer DeFi protocol. This strategic position involves working closely with the founder to define and scale the product roadmap, ensuring that the design discipline that has attracted early users is maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for the product surface end-to-end, from on-chain UX to off-chain dashboards, and must have a genuine instinct for on-chain product, with experience in shipping consumer DeFi or wallet-native experiences. The role is pivotal as the protocol transitions from early-adopter to growth-stage, and the Head of Product will play a key part in shaping the user experience for a rapidly expanding user base. Applicants for the Head of Product role at the company should have a background as a founding or near-founding product hire, with a proven track record of building a product organization from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a small, opinionated team and will have a partnership style that aligns with a technical and product-active founder. The focus of the role is on the product surface decisions that impact the protocol's evolution for new users, rather than simply managing a feature backlog. The company is particularly interested in candidates who have experience as a senior PM at a peer DeFi protocol, a founding PM from a consumer crypto wallet or aggregator, or an operator-founder ready to step into a senior role. The position is remote within Europe, with some travel to the US for investor and partner meetings, and requires a commitment to quarterly off-sites in Lisbon.
