Head of Accounting, German Commercial Code (HGB)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional management of fixed asset, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial accounting, as well as overseeing tax matters. This role involves the preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with German GAAP, ensuring the accurate recording of all business transactions, and acting as the primary liaison for tax advisors, auditors, and authorities. The Head of Accounting will also be instrumental in the development of compliance processes, contributing to tax-risk-free operations, and providing business analyses and statistics to support management. Applicants for the Head of Accounting position at the company should have a degree in finance and accounting or equivalent training as a certified accountant, with a strong background in the field. In-depth knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), accounting, tax, and commercial law is essential.
