Head of Product Design

The Company is seeking a Head of Product Design to lead the strategic development of a unified design vision and enhance the design organization's maturity. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a consistent, scalable, and competitive customer experience across a diverse range of online products, including marketplaces, classifieds, and consumer services. This role demands a leader with a strong background in UX strategy, product thinking, and design systems, who can ensure a seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms. Key responsibilities include building a long-term UX strategy, leading the product design and design system directions, and integrating customer insights into product decisions. The Head of Product Design will also be instrumental in raising the quality of design craft, developing the design team, and fostering a culture of ownership and innovation. Applicants for the Head of Product Design position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in product, UI, or UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in high-scale consumer products, particularly those with complex user scenarios, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a strong hands-on background in web and mobile design, as well as practical experience in UX research, usability testing, and behavioral analytics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with C-level stakeholders, shaping UX strategy, and developing design systems. A mindset focused on systems thinking, impact, and business value, as well as an interest in AI-assisted workflows and modern design practices, is also necessary. The Head of Product Design will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including product, engineering, and marketing leadership, and to ensure that design contributes to various business metrics.
