Vice President of Operations

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to play a pivotal role in the organization's transition from development to commercial deployment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership in day-to-day facility operations, establishing and maintaining operating procedures, safety standards, and performance metrics. This role involves leading the operational aspects of the business, including the transition from development to commercial operations, and building operational systems that ensure reliability, efficiency, and long-term scalability. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with team leadership, championing a world-class safety culture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements. Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, with 8-15 years of progressive leadership experience in complex technical environments. The role requires a proven track record in building teams, processes, and operational infrastructure, particularly in fast-paced growth environments. Strong leadership skills, the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, startup-style environments, and experience in implementing safety, quality, and operational excellence programs are essential. A background in facility startup, commissioning, and operational readiness, as well as experience with first-of-a-kind technologies or emerging industrial products, is highly preferred.
