Interim Head of Finance

The Company is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their high-performing leadership team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. The successful candidate will be a commercially minded qualified accountant with a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, and at least 7 years' post-qualified experience in a senior finance leadership role. This role is pivotal in providing strategic financial leadership, driving commercial performance, and ensuring robust financial governance across the business. The Head of Finance will be responsible for leading the finance function, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, as well as leading and developing the finance team. Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. The Head of Finance will work closely with the senior leadership team, providing financial insight and analysis to support key business decisions. The role also involves ensuring financial controls, statutory compliance, and effective risk management, as well as monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset, and will be adept at building strong relationships with senior management and external advisors.
