Vice President of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead fund-level financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and review of fund financial statements, serving as the primary accounting contact for external auditors and fund administration partners, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in technical accounting, audit coordination, and investor-focused reporting. The Vice President of Accounting will also be involved in monitoring cash activity, leading debt tracking, and supporting compliance reporting obligations. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business discipline, or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years' of accounting experience, with a focus on fund accounting or closely related financial reporting work. A strong understanding of alternative investments, fund administration, NAV concepts, and investor reporting requirements is essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with open-ended private equity funds and a background in loan-focused accounting and operations. A CPA or CMA designation is preferred, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The role demands the ability to work independently and adapt to an entrepreneurial environment.
