Senior Legal Counsel, Privacy

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on Privacy to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws across various entities, brands, and markets. This includes acting as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) when necessary, as well as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data protection agreements, privacy policies, and contractual clauses. The role also involves providing expert legal advice on privacy matters, supporting business projects, and leading investigations into data breaches and data subject requests. Applicants must be qualified lawyers with 4-6 years' of experience in privacy or data protection law, and have a strong expertise in GDPR and global data protection regulations. Experience in iGaming, financial services, or technology is considered an asset. The role requires the ability to lead privacy compliance programs, conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments, and ensure the embedding of privacy-by-design principles. The Senior Legal Counsel will also be involved in driving key privacy initiatives, contributing to the company's privacy strategy, and mentoring junior team members. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this position.
