Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations to take on a senior, hands-on leadership role with a focus on end-to-end operational performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading manufacturing operations, driving improvements in productivity, throughput, and efficiency, and managing production planning, resource allocation, and capacity to meet customer demand. This role also involves leading continuous improvement initiatives, developing succession plans, and supporting the ongoing development of operational teams. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should have a proven track record in manufacturing or operations leadership, with a strong emphasis on improving productivity, OTIF, and overall operational performance. A good understanding of production planning, supply chain, and quality systems is essential, as is a hands-on leadership style and strong communication skills. The role requires a candidate with a degree or HNC/HND in engineering or manufacturing, who is adept at leading continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, OEE, SMED, waste reduction, and takt-time improvement.
