Head of Finance & Facilities

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance & Facilities to join their team. This senior role is pivotal in providing strategic financial advice, leading and developing the finance, procurement, and facilities functions, and ensuring strong financial, contractual, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial governance, risk management, and management information, as well as leading the preparation of annual accounts, budgets, and financial reporting. Key to the position is the ability to drive continuous improvement, transformation, and process optimization, and to manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. Applicants for the Head of Finance & Facilities position at the company should be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountants with a minimum of 7 years' senior leadership experience in finance or related functions. The role requires a professional with a strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and a proven track record in leading teams and delivering organizational change. Experience in the public sector is welcome but not essential, as support will be provided to help the successful candidate with sector-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and a passion for the environmental and natural resources sector.
