Head of Energy Markets

The Company is in search of a Head of Energy Markets to spearhead the development and execution of its energy commercial strategy, with a focus on the convergence of renewable power, battery storage, and large-scale data center infrastructure. This pivotal role demands an individual with a proven track record in structuring and negotiating complex energy agreements, including various types of power purchase agreements and supply models. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing a market-leading energy procurement and optimization strategy, as well as leading the commercial design of integrated energy and digital infrastructure. Key responsibilities also include market intelligence, risk assessment, and leadership in stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have approximately 10-15 years' experience in energy markets, power trading, renewables, or infrastructure commercialization, and a strong background in wholesale power markets and renewable economics. Experience with private wire, embedded networks, or large-scale industrial or data center power demand is highly advantageous. The role requires a commercially driven individual who is intellectually curious and adept at operating in a high-growth, delivery-focused environment. The Head of Energy Markets will also be expected to act as the internal authority on energy markets, work cross-functionally with various teams, and support strategic partnerships and capital raising activities related to energy and infrastructure.
