Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their high-growth, Private Equity-backed direct-to-consumer subscription business. The CFO will play a pivotal role in the company's next phase, which is focused on accelerating profitable growth, scaling operations, and preparing for a successful exit within the next three years. This is a strategic and hands-on role, with key responsibilities including partnering with the CEO to execute the growth plan, leading all financial aspects, and ensuring the business is fully prepared for a future transaction. The successful candidate will be a commercially focused CFO with a proven track record of leading a PE-backed business through an exit and will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, improving reporting, and maximizing shareholder value. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will have previous experience as a CFO within a Private Equity-backed business, a successful history of leading a company through a PE exit, and significant experience in a direct-to-consumer or subscription-based business model. Strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence strategic decision-making, and a data-driven mindset are essential. The role requires a leader who can build and mentor a high-performing finance team, develop robust financial controls, and support commercial initiatives through financial analysis. The CFO will also be responsible for leading all financial aspects of due diligence and exit readiness, as well as managing relationships with investors, lenders, auditors, and external advisers. A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is required.
