Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to join their rapidly expanding global network of underwriting businesses. The successful candidate will be a dynamic risk leader with a proven track record in scaling PE-backed insurance businesses. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving risk strategy, product innovation, and portfolio profitability across multiple territories. The CRO will be responsible for shaping the risk strategy, optimizing underwriting portfolio performance, leading actuarial and data science teams, and strengthening relationships with global insurers and reinsurance partners. Additionally, the role involves playing a key part in M&A transactions and leading actuarial diligence and portfolio optimization. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have a background in risk management, underwriting, actuarial science, or portfolio oversight within an MGA, insurer, or reinsurer. Expertise in portfolio analytics, pricing models, and emerging risk trends is essential, with an actuarial background (FSA, FCAS, or equivalent) highly preferred.
