Senior Vice President, US Corridor, Global Network Banking

The Company is seeking an SVP for the US Corridor within its Global Network Banking division. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving inbound revenues from the US to the UK, with a focus on technology and life science sectors. This role is pivotal in helping clients achieve their international ambitions, and the SVP will be responsible for originating and winning new UK subsidiary relationships, as well as partnering with US-based Global Relationship Bankers to identify and capture opportunities. A strong external referral network within the innovation ecosystems of both the US and UK is essential, including connections with venture capital funds, law firms, tax advisors, and tech accelerators. Applicants must have a proven track record in managing complex client relationships, sales, and credit, with the ability to coordinate global pitches and RFPs. The role requires extensive knowledge of bank products and services, a strong understanding of risk, and the ability to coach and develop junior colleagues. Experience in a front-line role, a history of growing a business portfolio, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders in a global environment are also key requirements. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in UK business matters, capable of influencing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and will be expected to act as an ambassador for UK-US cross-border collaboration.
