About the Role
Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is in search of an experienced VP-level professional to join its Finance & Operations team, specifically to support the Portfolio Finance business. This role is pivotal in ensuring the proper management of portfolio finance deals and funds, from inception to exit. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including actively facilitating the deal close process, coordinating with various internal and external teams, and overseeing operational functions across different investment strategies. Strong accounting and finance experience, a working knowledge of the private credit industry, and the ability to build rapport with a diverse set of stakeholders are essential for this position. Applicants for the VP, Finance & Operations role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in finance or accounting, and a CPA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience is required, with a background in financial services and experience in private equity and fund of funds structures being highly valued. The role demands advanced skills in Microsoft Office, and experience with fund accounting and Investran is a plus. The VP will be involved in a variety of tasks, including fund accounting, financial and investor reporting, valuation, management company reporting, and tax reporting. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple responsibilities, supporting the development of junior team members, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and technology within the team.
