Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and further development of the finance and accounting department, including a small team. This role involves overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, ensuring proper accounting practices, and meeting all compliance and reporting requirements. The Head of Accounting will also serve as the central point of contact for external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and tax advisors, and will be involved in the optimization and standardization of financial processes, particularly in a digital environment.
