The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Emergency Department Operations to provide national strategic and operational leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting enterprise strategy, operational standards, and performance expectations for emergency department services. This role involves close partnership with various leaders to enhance access, patient experience, quality outcomes, and affordability in 24/7 acute care environments. The Executive Director will also lead initiatives to improve patient flow, throughput, and safety, and will be the senior operational leader and subject matter expert for emergency operations, including ED flow and integration across the continuum of care. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of ten years' progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on emergency department or other 24/7 acute care environments. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The role demands a strong background in emergency services operations, patient flow, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement, as well as a proven ability to lead large-scale operational change. The Executive Director will also be expected to promote a culture of safety, continuous learning, and just culture across all emergency settings, and to mentor emerging leaders in the field.
