Vice President, Private Equity Investments

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Private Equity Investments to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the origination, evaluation, and execution of lower to mid-market buyout opportunities across Europe. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with intermediaries, management teams, and corporate counterparties to generate proprietary deal flow, as well as assessing investment opportunities with a focus on carve-outs, special situations, and complex businesses. The Vice President will also lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence processes, prepare and present investment committee materials, and drive negotiations and transaction execution. Additionally, the role includes working closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic and operational value creation initiatives and mentoring junior investment professionals. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years' experience in private equity or M&A investment banking, with a strong track record of leading transaction workstreams. The role requires excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities, as well as a demonstrated ability to build relationships and originate investment opportunities. Strong commercial judgment, stakeholder management skills, and exceptional academic performance are also essential. The ideal candidate will be based in Paris or able to commute regularly, with a commitment to being in the Paris office the majority of the week. Excellent communication and leadership capabilities are a must for this leadership position within the investment team.
