The CFO will also be involved in new market stand-up, multi-year budgeting, and forecasting, as well as managing the total cost of care for members and implementing strategies to enhance value and reduce unnecessary expenditures. Candidates for the CFO position must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in various financial areas within a multi-faceted health plan, health care system, or multi-service provider setting, and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams, providing financial leadership in a large, complex business, and managing a broad range of financial and organizational issues. Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to build and maintain partnerships are essential.
